Art created by gorillas for sale

If you have a jungle-themed kid's room or a gorilla lover in your house, there are some auctions on Ebay that might have you swinging from the trees.
Three paintings by Okie, a western lowland gorilla housed in Boston's Franklin Park Zoo, created as part of a program to keep the gorillas intellectually stimulated, are available to the highest bidder until this Saturday.
Okie's artwork has proven popular in the past, a painting at a fundraiser earlier this summer sold for $10,000 and it has been featured in the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and The O'Reilly Factor.
Bidding for each current piece starts at $1,500 with all proceeds going to the zoo. That's a little steep for a finger painting, but having been created by giant hairy fingers makes it a great conversation piece and a unique Christmas gift for the person who has everything.
